Based in Adelaide South Australia, I’m over 30 years young in the Australian film & television industry. I’ve produced feature films and television documentaries, including international co-productions, for the last decade +. Prior to this I headed up a number of film development branches for the South Australian Government (Filmsouth and the South Australian Film Corporation). I’ve worked in Aboriginal communities, directed a film festival, worked in film education, made short films and walked out of school on to a film set (Peter Weir’s “The Last Wave”) and haven’t really left yet.

I established Go Patterson Films Pty Ltd in 2003 to produce feature films and more recently established a boutique television production company,
Dream TV Pty Ltd, with Sydney based director and friend Kay Pavlou producing our first documentary series for ABC1 in 2012.

In 2013 I launched onto the market with Pete Best of Bestfx, South Australia’s leading sound design company and Dave Cox of Melbourne based AudioNet.

I cook, I surf, I bring up 2 kids with my wife (concert pianist
Gabriella Smart) and life is full.
